Common Questions
The bill rate or mark-up varies based on market average, skill set, and competition in the area. Mark-ups usually range anywhere from 45 to 60 percent of the employee’s hourly rate. The bill rate includes all payroll taxes, workers compensation insurance, ACA compliant healthcare, and background check. Also included can be drug testing, skill testing/evaluations, and other credentials required for skilled positions. We will walk you through our process so you have a complete understanding of the scope of services provided.
Temporary – When you need a number of associates to complete a project or a specific period of time.
Temp to Perm – You have an open position(s) that needs to be filled. Logic Staffing will find the right candidate who is looking for a permanent opportunity and has the skill set and personality that fits with your workforce.
Seasonal – Very similar to temp to perm, but there is an estimated end date. This works perfectly for the peaks in your business.
Direct Hire – Need to find that perfect employee? We will create a recruiting strategy, screen, and present top candidates – all you have to do is select the candidate that best suits your company.

Staffing agencies save you time and stress by taking on the hiring process for you. Nope! Employment through a staffing agency is completely free. In fact, we offer many perks such as referral bonuses, longevity bonuses, overtime opportunities, and full benefits eligibility.
Temporary to hire (temp-to-hire) means that you are employed through your agency, and will be matched with a work assignment that fits your schedule and needs. We work with many exclusive top companies, and most assignments are long-term and ongoing. If you enjoy your work assignment and prefer to stay long-term, there is often the opportunity to get hired on with the company permanently.

Agencies are able to provide a wider range of options and flexibility than a typical direct hire job. With all of our available openings, we are able to provide you multiple options that fit your schedule requirements, location, and lifestyle. You also have the option to switch job assignments, regardless of the reasoning, to another company within our network of top organizations.
Most agencies require a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and the capacity to perform required job duties. Prior experience is not typically required, making it a great option for those new to the workforce.
Our hiring process is designed to be quick and easy! You can apply to a specific job or fill out our general quick application. Once you’ve applied a Hiring Manager will reach out for a quick phone screen, and schedule a time for you to interview at your nearest Logic office. Once we match you with the best job assignment to suit your career needs and goals we perform a quick onboarding process and get you set up for your new job as soon as the next day.

Referral Tips
- Your referral should have a solid work history and skills or interests in warehouse, production, distribution, logistics, clerical/data entry/office work, customer service, etc.
- You are proud to be associated with this person & trust them to do any job well.
- Your referral is or will be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) & lives in or near the cities of Kent, Sumner, Tacoma, or DuPont, WA.
Eligibility
Referrals are only valid if submitted by a current or former Logic Staffing employee, or by an employee of a Logic Staffing customer.
Payment Terms
Referral Bonuses are paid out when:
- Your referral gets hired AND
- Your referral works at least 80 hours
Placement
If a referral is hired, they will be placed on a job assignment based on their location and availability and may not be placed on the same assignment as the person who made the referral.
